I could see at least 3 skill tree, those being Warrior, General, and Governor. The skills should just be some basic things that buff your character's abilities depending on which skill tree they were going down. I honestly think that, at least for historical TW games, that the best way to do things would be for the devs to find some middle ground, as it were. I just think that the idea of random traits and such, at least if it's left the way it was back in the day, the randomness could cause some issues if it's not balanced out properly.
